On the fifth day we worked on the emotional intelligence and we had the departments meeting at the end of the morning. We talked about the control of our emotions and how to understand others’. During lunch they gave us paper for the Evaluation of our trip to Malta. In the afternoon we went at the temples of Hagar Qim and Mnajdraand we saw the protected island of Filfla. Then we walked to the Blue Grotto where we took a small boat and we saw the beautiful sea and different caverns. In the evening, after we came back from our amazing trip, we stayed in the hotel for dinner and for pack our suitcases. We stayed up until late with the spanish students and we started to think about how to show our trip in Malta in our school in Borgomanero, Italy.On the fourth day we had to create a radio spot for our products. We were divided in groups with students of different nationalities and we worked until lunch. In the afternoon we went to Mdina for a day trip where we saw the catacombs and the old town. We saw an amazing view of the island from the central bar of the city where we ate a local special cake. At five o’clock we came back from our trip and we went to our rooms. In the evening we had a BBQ with the other schools at St. Patrick’s Salesian School. We had so much fun together, we danced and they gave us prises for our hard work. At the end of the day our italian group went to a bar. At midnight we went to bed.On the third day we went to the school in the morning. There we spent all morning with a man who taught us the basic notions of marketing that everyone has to know. Some hours later, we moved towards La Valletta, the capital city of the island of Malta. There we visited a lot of beautiful monuments, such as the Barocco theatre, the oldest and the best preserved in Malta. After we had some free time to spend around the city and a group of guys, after eating at Burger King, sat outside the Parliament while listening to music and dancing. Then we returned to the hotel and we had a tresure hunt in Mdina, the silent city.
On Tuesday we went to Gozo Island by ferry. Then we went to visit the Citadel of Victoria. The Citadel is visible from every part of the island. Afterwards we took the bus and we went to Dwejra, where we could see the Azure Window. There we had lunch and we swam in the Blue Sea, after which we went to Ramla Bay; its name means “sandy bay”, and it comes from the particular red color of its fine sand. Later we returned to the hotel and we had dinner. After dinner we walked around the centre of Sliema with our teachers, then we we to the hotel and we went to sleep.
